​ReverbNation's charity music download program, curated by Sustenance Group, enrolled 150,000 artists, generated hundreds of thousands of Tweets, and donated money to 13 nonprofit organizations. Celebrities included Zac Brown (Camp Southern Ground /charity partner), Christy Turlington Burns (Every Mother Counts/charity partner) and Milla Jovovich (recording artist).

CARE celebrated the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day in 2011 with an all-star concert produced by Sustenance Group and featuring Michael Franti, India Arie, Sarah Darling and Crystal Bowersox. Guest speakers at the conference included Melinda Gates and former US First Lady, Laura Bush.

Sustenance Group and the Georgia Commission on Women (chaired by Karla Jacobs) produced the Girls and Women Leading Together event at the Center for Civil and Human Rights on March 8, 2017, in honor of International Women's Day. Participants included Atlanta influencers from dozens of nonprofit organizations and a panel discussion featuring Mary-Pat Hector, Beth-Sarah Wright, Karin Ryan, Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice, Maureen Downey, Janice McKenzie-Crayton, and more. Hosted by CNN's Moni Basu and Univision's Mariella Romero, with special guests Sandra Deal, Deborah Richardson, Derreck Kayongo, Judith Montier, Amy Kelly, and Nancy Bauer.

Sustenance Group brought together the Center for Civil and Human Rights, ONE, Emory University’s Institute for Developing Nations, UNICEF, UN Association, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Islamic Speakers Bureau, Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, Church of the Good Shepherd, Atlanta International School and Usher’s New Look Foundation for an interfaith celebration and educational event honoring the 2015 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Sustenance Group created a digital partnership between ReverbNation and Global Poverty Project for the 2013 Global Citizen Festival, featuring a video contest. Thousands of ReverbNation musicians participated in online social actions and submitted videos to the GPP team. Congrats to WD-Han, the winning band whose video, "Shoot Me Down" was played at the festival in front of 60,000 people!

Sustenance Group curated and organized an issue of Paste Magazine (with editor Josh Jackson) dedicated to women's issues and International Women's Day. The project was a partnership with Half the Sky Movement, Equals USA, CARE, Every Mother Counts, Dining for Women and others. The issue was written by Paste writers and featured contributions from Nicholas Kristof, Annie Lennox, Elton John, Olivia Wilde, Helene Gayle and others.

Sustenance Group formed partnerships between Annie Lennox's EQUALS campaign and CARE USA, Half the Sky Movement, Every Mother Counts, Dining for Women and Women for Women International to promote International Women's Day digitally in the US in March 2012 and 2013. In March 2013, select EQUALS partners participated in a curated issue of Paste Magazine dedicated to IWD.

World Malaria Day Concerts

In 2010, Sustenance Group partnered with Marietta First Baptist Church in Georgia to produce a World Malaria Day Concert and Basketball Carnival to benefit Malaria No More and Nothing But Nets. The event received matching funds from the Tony Blair Faith Foundation. Featuring Grammy-winning band Third Day, Scott England, the Atlanta Dream (WNBA) and Ivano "Newby" Newbill, former NBA star of Atlanta Hawks. A presentation was made by the town's mayor, Steve Tumlin. In 2011 the event was held as a soccer carnival at First Methodist Church of Marietta featuring the Atlanta Beat pro women's soccer team.

October 17, 2009

Sustenance Group (Kristi York Wooten, Nancy Bauer, Stephanie Jolluck, Monica Tannian), in conjunction with Jackson & Spalding (Diana Drobiner) and Accenture (Christina Horten), along with CARE Action Network and ONE Campaign volunteers, produced events for the UN's National Day for the Eradication of Poverty. These events featured panel discussions and live music performances as well as celebrity hosts and guests including Sanjay Gupta, Fredricka Whitfield, Louis Sullivan, Shirley Franklin, Helene Gayle, Melissa Faye Greene, Derreck Kayongo, Hanson and others.
